This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using Rapid Ready AI's hosting, domain, security, private AI and related services (the "Services"). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. By using the Services you agree to comply with this AUP.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services, without notice in urgent cases, where we reasonably believe this AUP has been breached.
1. Purpose and Scope
This AUP applies to you, anyone you authorise to use your account, and anything hosted, sent, stored or run using the Services. It exists to keep our network, our customers, and the wider internet safe, and to make sure the Services are used lawfully and responsibly.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use the Services to store, host, publish or transmit content that:
- is illegal, or facilitates illegal activity, in New Zealand or in the jurisdiction where the content is accessed;
- infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights;
- is defamatory, harassing, or intended to threaten or abuse another person;
- sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way;
- promotes violence, terrorism, or hatred against a group or individual; or
- is malicious code, including viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, or spyware.
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Services to:
- send unsolicited bulk email (spam), or operate an open mail relay;
- engage in phishing, identity theft, or impersonate another person or business;
- gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account, or network ("hacking"), including port scanning or vulnerability probing without authorisation;
- launch or participate in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks;
- distribute malware, or operate command-and-control infrastructure;
- mine cryptocurrency or run other resource-intensive processes in a way that degrades service for other customers, unless done via a product plan that expressly permits it; or
- circumvent metering, security, or access controls on the Services.
4. Network, Resource and Security Abuse
Shared hosting and similar plans are provided on a fair-use basis. We may throttle, isolate, or ask you to move to a higher-tier plan if your account consumes a disproportionate share of shared CPU, memory, storage, I/O, or bandwidth, or if it is affecting the stability or security of the platform for other customers. We may also require you to remediate compromised software (for example, outdated CMS plugins) that is being used to attack our network or others.
5. Email and Anti-Spam
Email services must only be used to send messages to recipients who have consented to receive them, in line with New Zealand's Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act and equivalent laws elsewhere. All commercial email must include accurate sender information and a working unsubscribe mechanism. We may suspend mail services on an account that generates a high spam-complaint or bounce rate.
6. Private AI and Automation Services
Where you use our private AI, automation, or AI employee services, you are responsible for the inputs you provide and the outputs you generate or act on. You may not use these services to generate content prohibited under section 2, to build tools intended to abuse other systems, or to circumvent rate limits or usage terms of any third-party model or API accessed through the service.
7. Copyright and Intellectual Property
We respond to valid notices of alleged copyright or trade mark infringement. If you believe content hosted on our platform infringes your rights, contact us with enough detail to identify and locate the material. Repeat, verified infringers may have their services suspended or terminated.
8. Monitoring and Enforcement
We do not routinely monitor customer content, but we may investigate suspected violations of this AUP, including in response to complaints from other customers, network providers, or law enforcement. Depending on the severity of a breach, we may issue a warning, require remediation within a set timeframe, suspend the Services, or terminate your account. Where required by law, or where we believe there is a serious risk to life or safety, we may report content to the relevant authorities.
9. Reporting a Violation
If you become aware of content or activity on our platform that you believe breaches this AUP, please contact us via our Contact Us page with as much detail as possible, including URLs, timestamps, and a description of the issue.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, technology, or legal obligations. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised AUP.
